I have not had enough exposure and experience regarding the notion of diversity at Visy. However, I have seen a push for diversity from the Graduate Development Program for employing more females and caring for general well-being and quality of life.

There are plenty of programmes to promote diversity however, on the production side, there are still more work to be done.

I think there is not a lot of diversity with respect to women in operation. I believe Visy is working towards making that change.

VISY is very culturally diverse in terms having people from all around the world to contribute and share their skills and talents within the organisation.

The industry has typically been very male dominated but the graduate program and internal culture has shifted a lot to a more balanced approach.

There is diversity in terms of ethnicity, in terms of gender, higher up in management, it is male dominated.

I can say the workplace I have been exposed to has been very culturally and ethnically diverse. I think it is what makes Visy special. Females in the workplace are not too prominent but only that's because of the nature of the manufacturing business. Visy is working on improving that

In an industry that has historically been dominated by men Visy is making good steps to increase their diversity, there is still improvement to be made though.

There is a definite push to increase diversity in the business; I often see evidence of plans and commitments to support this.

Visy is a very merit based business, which means provided you do the job well, there are no advantages or disadvantages for any different race/religion/gender etc. Both the site that I work at, and the company as a whole, is incredibly diverse.

Visy is looking to be diverse with many different ethnicities however manufacturing does not attract many women or people from the LGBT.

What does your company do to attract applicants from less privileged backgrounds?
They seem to be open-minded, as I am from an ethnic background. I feel like I am treated equally and with respect.
